Whole 30: Day 29 Recap

doing whole 30 image12

I’m doing a Whole 30 for a couple of reasons: 1) I want to feel great from the inside out, 2) Putting some stricter guidelines around my food choices keeps me from getting distracted by things that might otherwise tempt me, and 3) Sometimes it takes a while to reap the benefits of a change and having a timeline provides the structure and encouragement I need when I begin to feel impatient.

I plan to share what I eat each day to help me accurately judge what my body needs and to, hopefully, provide a little inspiration or planning assistance if you’re trying to figure out your day as well. If you have questions about anything, please leave me a comment.

Everyone is different, so I hope you don’t judge me too harshly by what I eat. And maybe you’ll see something that resonates with you and, in that case, excellent! If not, I’ll be posting different recipes on the blog too, so don’t despair!

Here’s to the journey!

***************************************************************************************************************

5:00 Black coffee

6:30 1 egg, 2 oz. ham, jerk seasoned mushroom/spaghetti squash sauté, 1/4 avocado

10:45 Tuna, 1/4 c. sweet potato, 1/4 avocado, squeeze of lemon, s&p (I love this snack!)

12:45 Italian pork chop, Jeweled Brussels Sprouts, 1/2 c. fruit heated with 1 tsp. coconut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon coconut flakes

4:00 1/2 pear and small handful of pecans

8:15 Romanian sausage (4 oz.), citrus cauliflower, salad

Food  Busy day and hungry in the earlier part. Nothing to worry about though.

Mood Pretty happy today. I just wish there were more hours in the day!

Sleep 7 hours. I slept almost exactly from 9:30 to 4:30. No alarm clock – just up and ready to hit the day.

Exercise Morning yoga. Such a great way to start the week! Back workout at the gym. I am really tired and sore and my body is screaming for a rest day. Tomorrow it is!

  1. 29!!!! That means today is your last day. You’ve inspire Michelle. I wouldn’t be doing this if you hadn’t inspired me!!! And I’ve already had so much joy from the process so I thank you for that!
